Description

What is PWM Sharing Technology (PST)?

PWM Sharing Technology (PST) is a patented technology by Arctic Cooling that allows you to regulate the speed of up to 5 fans by the onboard CPU controller. (Based on Intel 965 chipset mainboard which will supply 3.0Amps current from the CPU fan socket) Control the entire cooling for your needs via the BIOS settings. Not only does the CPU fan only run as fast as it needs to but also the case fans.

In a typical system, you simply daisy chain 1 x PWM front case fan, 1 x PWM rear case fan and 1 x PWM Freezer 7/64 Pro to form a PST Network!

Extremely Quiet

The low speed ceramic bearing 92 mm fan reduces the noise level to a minimum.

The patented fan holder is able to practically eliminate the typical buzzing sound of 90mm fans.

The four patented vibration absorption rubber connectors on the fan case act as a vibration damper to absorb vibration of the running fan. This can reduce significant vibration between plastic fan case and heatsink.

Ceramic bearing fan is 4 times quiet than the stock Intel cooler (0.9 Sone vs 4.9 Sone), and keep noise level below 18 dBA!

Powerful Cooling

6 Heat Pipes (three used double sided) are able to transfer heat up to 200 Watt!

The heat exchanger is built of 42 fins and consists of a surface area of over 4700 cm2 and allows for resistance free energy transfer to air.

Hot air direct blow to the back case fan and exhaust out

Extreme low thermal resistance - 0.17°C/W vs 0.23°C/W for stock cooler.

Integrated Cooling of Voltage Converters
Air is drawn in from the side of the fan to cool the components around the CPU. Some air is blown out towards the voltage converters on the mainboard with the bent fins at the bottom.

Low Weight
This cooler count as featherweights with 520g which avoids mainboard socket stress problem.

Easy Installation
The cooler is to install without any tools within seconds

Reliability
The ARCTIC Ceramic Bearing provides an unmatched Life Time of 137'000h (L10@40°C) resp. an MTBF@70°C of 163'000h, and no performance and noise degrade within lifetime.
